Psychotherapy Services

"The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are." -Joseph Campbell

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), I offer psychotherapy services to clients in North Carolina at Being in Process, PLLC. In this capacity, I work with clients anywhere in the state via Telehealth services.  I also have limited availability for in-person sessions in downtown Wilmington.

My approach to therapy is person-centered and experiential.

I see therapy as a co-creative process in which we work together to help you connect with the natural healing impulse that exists within you. My work facilitates experiences of connection with the inner self to access deeper self-awareness and authentic self-expression. I also help clients develop skills and resources for self-regulation and self-care.

My approach differs from traditional talk therapy. I combine right-brained, experiential methods with cognitive processing, reflection and integration to create behavior change, deepen self-awareness, and enhance psychological flexibility. Some of the tools I use in my practice include dreamwork, guided imagery, expressive arts, inner child work and parts work. You can find out more about some of these approaches here.
